MIDNIGHT TRAING ALBUM COVER
Assignment for Kenya’s leading Afro-pop band SAUTI SOL from their 5th album titled MIDNIGHT TRAIN which I am of esteemed honor to have been a part of.
My costume direction was guided by the term ‘MIDNIGHT TRAIN’ where I imagined the four band members catching a train at the wee hours of the night and draped in Maasai ‘shukas’ to keep warm. And that’s where the elements of drapings and warm print fabrics and bold colors came in the creative style.
